Service Agreement Overview

This service agreement outlines how we work with clients to keep everything clear and simple. It applies to all services we provide to clients, including but not limited to website design and development, domain registration and management, and hosting services.

By engaging our services, you agree to the terms of this service agreement as set out below.

Terms of Service Agreement

  1. Ownership
    • All websites, designs, files, domain names, and related services remain the property of Vanessa Ellen Web Design until full payment is received.
    • Once you have paid in full, ownership of the completed website, designs, files, domain name(s), and related services will belong to you.
  2. Payments
    • Payments are due as specified in the invoice or agreed payment schedule.
    • Work may be paused if invoices are overdue, and unpaid websites or services will not be transferred or remain online.
  3. Domains & Hosting
    • While we are working together, I will register and manage domain names and hosting on your behalf.
    • Once your project is complete and invoices are paid in full, you have full ownership and control.
  4. Client Responsibilities
    • You’ll need to provide any content, images, or feedback I request in order to keep the project moving forward.
    • Delays in providing content may extend the timeline of the project.
  5. Support
    • I’ll provide reasonable support during the project and for the launch of your website.
    • Ongoing support is available as part of our managed hosting service. This includes minor content updates.
    • Ongoing website development or additional changes after completion can be provided at our current hourly or project rate.
  6. Cancellations
    • If you choose to cancel the project after work has begun, you will be invoiced for the time and work completed up to that point.
